What does Verified mean?

Every claim on VeriTrack is checkable. Here’s exactly what a Verified badge does and doesn’t guarantee.

• What does a Verified badge mean on VeriTrack?

  It means that specific sales record, performance period, or employment entry has been independently checked against evidence — not just entered by the person it belongs to.

• How does a record actually get verified?

  Two ways today: self-attested (the default — no extra step) and document upload (you attach an evidence file, kept private, and it's reviewed by an admin before the status changes to Verified).

• What happens if I edit a record after it's been verified?

  It immediately reverts to unverified. This is deliberate: a Verified badge must always reflect the data currently shown, never data that was true only at some point in the past.

• Can anything else change a verification status?

  No. Verification fields are written only by the verification flow itself, never as a side effect of a general edit, and every status change is logged with who made it and when.

• How do I know a Verified badge is still current?

  Every Verified badge shows its "Last verified" date. Verified items are periodically re-checked, and you'll get a reminder to re-verify once a record has gone stale.
